Eligibility 10+2 from the biology side, Application form comes online and you can find it online on the official website of King George's Medical University. Application fees are around 1000 for reserved categories and around 2000 for General categories. Want a different entrance for the university itself.
Course Curriculum Overview
First of all, it's a medical course with a professional degree and a huge scope in careers and fields in nursing. Almost 60 teachers and 400 students comprise each batch of nursing. None of the faculty is seen without a master in his/her degree, even some of them with doctorate degrees. Lecture cum discussion is the most used teaching method else there are several other teaching methods practiced too. Though, the practicals are done by introducing training and posting period in different departments of different hospitals. At first, the university examination was early but now it's semester-wise, two in a year, and in between 2-4 internal examinations a pre University examination before the final one. The copy checking and examination process is so complex with different facilities involved all around the state where the standards are high and hence, the examinations are difficult to pass with most students backed or given supplements mainly in first and second-year batches.
Internships Opportunities
Internship, jobs all is with you and availability of vacancies whether you prefer private or government sector after completing your course. The internship offered mainly by the University is the unpaid training or posting period the students sent for training and developing skills purposes. There are several competitive examinations available for job vacancies after the completion of the course.
Fees and Financial Aid
The foremost and the primary scholarship you get is the UP Scholarship i.e, provided by the government of Uttar Pradesh. Rather than that, you can opt for private scholarships no other financial assistance is provided. Jobs are totally on you and based on vacancies created if any.
Campus Life
All welcoming and saying goodbyes through freshers and farewell. Lamp lighting ceremonies each year for the freshers Each and every day that is to be celebrated is done, a sports week in a year is also there. All books and journals related to your course are available in the library. Chair, tables, desk, projectors, whiteboards, CCTVs, AC, rods, fans, etc. A sports week in a year. Social groups based on the batches and departments are thereby students for students.
