Remarks
If you want to become a teacher of Elementary classes. Then you can opt for this course. For doing D.El.Ed, you have to 12th passed. For taking admission in this course in JMI, first, you have to give an entrance examination. After clearing this exam, there will be an interview. After that, you get admission to JMI. The application form starts in April or May.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course and want to become a teacher. There are lots of good teachers with highly qualified and well experienced. The exam is conducted annually. The exam is so easy to pass. So just take your class regularly.
Internships Opportunities
For all the students of D.El.Ed, there is a compulsory internship. You have to do 3 months internship in Elementary school (1st to 5th class) and 1 month in secondary school (6-8th class). After that school will give you marks according to your teaching.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fee for the course is 18000 for 2 years. Fees in JMI are so cheap. Any students can access it. And college also provides so many scholarships. Like JTA, NSP, and many other agencies providing scholarships. There are no placements offered from college.
Campus Life
Campus life is so good. There is no fest organized in college. But you have to do lots of curriculum activities. All the students of the Education Department are divided into many houses. So there is the interaction between students of different courses. Like Bed General, Bed Nursery, Bed Special Education, and and Diploma in Elementary Education. In houses, there is competition between houses like sports, singing, painting, and Debate.
