For admission in the BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY, JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCE entrance exams is conducted which is conducted by the NATIONAL TESTING AGENCY (NTA), all over the nation. The application process for JEE starts a couple of months before the examination. The admit card is released on the NTA portal itself. You must score min of 87 percentile for General Category in JEE MAINS to avail good colleges like DTU, NIT, etc. And the score must be above 90 percentile to appear in JEE ADVANCE to grasp colleges like IIT. AFTER THE DECLARATION OF RESULTS The counseling process of various institutes started. IPU conducts its counseling through its own portal. First, you have to register yourself on the IPU portal then you will be provided with your Application number, through which you will be able to log in to the counseling portal. It takes part in 4 rounds-three choice filling and a fourth spot round. You have to fill colleges according to your choice and once you get it you have to visit the college for procedures.

I chose the course because of my interest in the Tech field and seeing the growth of opportunities in the IT sector. The campus life is overall good but the size of the campus is a bit less as compared to other colleges. Labs are not properly developed and classroom size is ok. The infrastructure is good but needs improvement. The faculty there is good. Most of the faculties are either Ph.D. or from the same field. The teaching method is pretty good. Faculty and coordinators are helpful and support students. From time to time activities and webinars are involved. TNP cell is involved in placement procedures. On-campus placements are provided. Exams are conducted twice a semester. Internals and Externals, these two are conducted and it's not hard to pass them if you have studied smartly.

The students are eligible for placements after the 7th semester. Companies start to visit colleges for interviews. Companies that visit include AMAZON, GOOGLE, ZOMATO, etc. The highest package was 60LAC last year by GOOGLE as Software Developer and the average package was 30lac. You must be having a CGPA above 7.5 to apply for placements and good command of computing languages. I planned for higher studies.

The fee structure is pretty nice. Yearly fees are deposited and you can pay either in installments or complete fee in one go. No scholarship tests are there, the fee amount is the same for all branches of BTECH. Fees have been reduced for covid survivors and there is no such harsh policy for fees. The placements take place on campus with companies like AMAZON, GOOGLE, etc. and avg package goes up to 30 lac.

The TECHNO CULTURE FEST (CORONA) has been conducted every year but due to COVID, its name changed to MALHAAR this time. It's an amazing 2-3 days fest including both technical and cultural activities. There is a complete library setup with books for all courses and all subjects and every author. Thesis is also available. The classroom has a capacity of 60+ students and contains proper ventilation. Labs are air-conditioned properly. There is society related to every field including dance, music, code, etc. And every society is doing great in its own way. Various webinars and sessions are conducted time to keep students aware of placements. Drishti - the ROTARACT CLUB is a social service group run by students.
