Remarks
The first thing which comes to my mind when I want to talk about HBS, is its Faculty. But HBS is much more than a set of experienced teachers. Be it the campus, people here, infrastructure or extracurricular it’s no less than any other top business school. Along with all these I like the campus more because of the fact that its far away from the city's pollution and chaos. The residential facility with well-equipped in-house library, cafeteria and play-courts make the stay of students at campus even more comfortable and worth.
Entrance Preview
Applicants to the MBA Program must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline. The Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years education after completing higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent are also eligible, provided they furnish the proof of having met the minimum eligibility criteria
Course Curriculum Overview
The college keeps on evolving our curriculum annually to ensure the alignment with industry requirement and classroom teaching-learning process. In fact, it is this dynamic spirit which differentiates MBA at HBS from many others. I would recommend everyone to visit HBS and attend their orientation programme and see the difference themselves. A perfect balance and mixture of theory, practicals, assignments, projects and presentations.
Internships Opportunities
Internship is mandatory for all the students pursuing MBA. The minimum duration of the internship should be of 2 months. The college has made sure that the students get stipends from the companies they opt for so that they could cover their basic expenses and doesn't feel burden by it. The student is required to prepare a project and a presentation based on the internship and the field of work he/she was involved in.
Exam Structure
First year of MBA we have common course for all students and in the second year we need to obtain specialisation. HBS follows trimester system for conducting exams. We are also having summer internship program after first year for practical knowledge in our specialisation. There's a very good balance between exams and you will fee connected to the course throughout the year.
