Remarks
The B-School provides you with an opportunity to design your career from the very beginning of the course. The college has a trimester-based academic year, with 5 specializations, teachings from Ph.D.'s, interactive classroom sessions, guest lectures, and 5lakh+ e-resources. The best in class infrastructure brings HBS at par with other B-Schools. With the great resource pool available, you will be made industry ready and a conscious effort from the students can only yield fruitful results.
Entrance Preview
Applicants may be from any discipline such as Engineering, Humanities, Commerce, and Economics, Medicine or any other branch of education. Candidates with relevant work experience as also fresh graduates awaiting results are welcome to apply. Entrance scores of other exams and colleges are also accepted by the college but it depends on the scores they have achieved there. An interview round is conducted at the end to understand the knowledge and experience of the candidate.
College Events
The much awaited events at HBS are Lakshya, joy of giving and many more. The faculty is definitely a Priceless treasure at hand but it's up to value seeker to grab the opportunities. Everyone in the college is given opportunity to be a part of the event either as a participant or the event coordinator. The winners and the participants and the coordinators are awarded certificates and prizes at the end of the event.
Hostel Facilities
As the location is far from the city, it is difficult to travel, but there are hostels (girls and boys) and transportation facilities. For boys, there are a lot of rooms available on rent near the college in a walking distance and at a very affordable rate. Facilities like washing machines, geysers, heaters etc are all provided by the management in the hostel. The food of the canteen is very hygienic and tastes like home made food.
Exam Structure
The interesting and still paradoxical thing about HBS is its Trimester based two year full programmed. The students can be made to be as occupied as possible and it can be too pressurized at same time. There are so many assignments, practicals, projects and presentations that it gets difficult for students to relax, but at the same time, the students are taught a lesson of how to handle the burden and carry out their responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
