Course Curriculum Overview
My dream was to become a pharmacist so I selected this course. As PCI regulation faculty: student ratio 6:60. Most of the faculties are M.pharm qualified only a few are Doctorate teaching method is a quite easy and strategic way for a student to understand every subject without any doubt. We have 4 internal and 2 semesters in a year and it's not quite difficult and it's easy for students to prepare for the semester.
Internships Opportunities
Only a few companies tied with colleges for intership like MacLeod and alembic with a 9k stipend per month and also hospital training. We have final year projects to clarify the task and help us to review projects for companies for hiring.
Placement Experience
Last semester students and ex-student are eligible for college campus placement. Visited companies like Cipla, MacLeod, mankind, Apollo, alembic etc. The highest salary package offered was 4L PA. The lowest salary package offered was 1.5L P.A -Max 15% get campus selected. My plans after getting the degree to master in pharmacology.
Fees and Financial Aid
BPUT and PCI have fixed course fee, so the student doesn't have to give any hike fee for it. Around 3lakh 50 thousand total course fee. We have financial assistance for mild class Student for quarterly fee structure. Scholarship offers for student SC, ST, and GATE students as per their Eligibility.
Campus Life
Every year in the month of January annual functions like Umang, Umang 2.0, Farewell feast, and Batch feast. All kinds of Reference books and updated journals help students for competitive exams, future jobs and project work. Rares sports activity DPL, atheletic meet and extracurricular activities like poster presentation, debate, seminar. Social groups like OSBP, and OPA ( Odisha pharmacy association) by students and senior Faculties.
Hostel Facilities
As per DCP hostel guidelines, 3 students are in one room. hostel rooms are well maintained and ventilated. Meal quality is healthy and hygienic for all students and teachers. The registration process is done by the hostel warden. Rent rooms or PG are available near a college campus.
