Deepak's Review On Bharathiar University - [BU], Coimbatore

Bachelor degree from any recognized University in Science stream with minimum 50% marks for open category and 45% marks for reserved category required for admission. Also, I appeared for an entrance exam conducted at our University Campus. After completing entrance exam, I appeared in personal Interview round. Admissions are based on the qualifying marks in the Entrance.

Our placement cell conducts various value-based programs, guest lecture, Viva voce mock interview, pre-placement Viva-voce etc. It also conducts orientation and strategy meetings. Our University invites only reputed companies for campus Interview. In my course, students are gets placed in different colleges, Universities and other also in Educational Institutions.

Most enjoyable event for me in this University is fresher's party. It is one of the biggest and most important events on campus. Every year students are welcomed into the BU family with a bash. Lively music, special performances and Mr and Mrs freshers are some of the highlights of the program. College foundation day also one of the interesting event on our college campus.

Scholarships are introduced for the students in our University.To motivate the Students every meritorious student are given a scholarship of a good amount of money every year.Reserved category Students also receive caste scholarships from the state government.Minority Students also receive the minority scholarships from the minority commission.One of my friend avail this scholarship.

Our campus is situated in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu. It's a very beautiful place and so as the campus of ours. The surroundings of the campus are very clean and well maintained. Campus building is multi-storeyed. Proper washrooms for the teachers and students. The complete campus of our college is wifi enabled. In the campus cafeteria also, there is proper space for sitting for both teachers and students.

The hostels of the University are spacious, furnished rooms available on twin sharing basis with attached washrooms. There is 24×7 security guard and restriction of outsiders entry without permission. The facility has Wi-Fi premises with excellent speed and bandwidth. Mess food is also good. Various cuisines are available on every Sundays.
