Remarks
There is no eligibility as such. You just have to pay the management fees if you have not given KCET. I saw the advertisement online and then searched about it on collegedunia as well. One can directly visit their website for all the details. There are no reservation benefits for management seats. The admission process is quite streamlined. No need to improve anything.
Course Curriculum Overview
Computer science is the most sought-after career option in the market today with plenty of job opportunities online. Talking about the student-to-teacher ratio, I would say the college is a bit understaffed as each class's strength is around 70 which gets quite crowded. The exams were quite timely and one could easily pass them studying the night before.
Internships Opportunities
The internships are not provided by the college. You have to hunt for them on your own. But you can easily land a side intern position in Bangalore if u look for options around you and LinkedIn or through connections. You will be mostly writing codes or testing them most of the time.
Placement Experience
The placements start in the 6th semester. A number of service and a few product companies visit the campus like Microfocus, Mindtree, IBM, TCS, WIPRO, etc. The highest package for on-campus placement is around 12lpa and the average package is around 3.5 LPA. Usually, all the students from my department who sit for placements get placed. I am preparing for competitive examinations.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee remained constant throughout the duration of my course. The per year fee was 2.5 lacs and apart from this you dont need to spend anything on studies. Books and other materials are readily available in the library. There is no on-campus job option available. But scholarship is there for academically good performing students.
Campus Life
The annual cultural fest is VERTEX. The scale is quite underwhelming with barely any guest performers. The library has mostly course-related books. The spots department is barely existent. There is just one ground where everyone comes in the evening and practices.
