My college

One can get admission by writing an entrance exam called eamcet now changed to eapcet. The students can apply online for the exam where registration is available on official websites. The students should be thorough with the official websites and should follow the page for important dates. The student gets a reservation based on the category like obc, scheduled caste, phc Etc. The application should be more transparent and easy for people who are not aware of technology and rural areas.

Basically, the course is about construction and infrastructure and it is quite interesting. Andhra University is an autonomous college that follows its own syllabus and exams. Nearly 45 professors along with associate professors of different subjects available for students of nearly 340. yearly two semesters are conducted and for each semester again two mid examinations are also conducted and the paper is moderate.

Companies like TCS, L&T, Infosys, etc are some companies that provide internships for the college. There are different projects where the students opt for like projects based on hydraulics, fluid mechanics, structures, and site analysis. Etc. The student should perform under a professor and make the project complete in the second semester of 4th year.

The placements in the college are low and even low for this course. Campus placement includes academic performance, project reports, technical skills, and knowledge of the subject. Companies like L&T, TCS, and cognizant have visited and the highest package is 75000, and the average package is 3 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements is now nearly 28%. after my degree either I will do my MTech Or settle In the campus placement.

The yearly course fee is 10,000.scholarships are applicable based on the category like caste phc etc. Here are some scholarships like Jagan anna Vidhya deevena and jagannana vasthi deevana where the students get their course and mess fee through scholarships. The student gets financial assistance through educational loans with low interest available in the college bank.

Life on campus is new every single day, training myself to face any hurdle in my life. There are a few annual fests like Aurora, Anusandhan Etc conducted in the college. Besides cultural like dance and singing, technical events are also conducted like poster making, model making, demo lectures on selected topics by students, guest lectures by IIT professors Etc. The journals are available in the South campus library Dr. Vs Krishna library every book a student needs can find there and the student can also borrow the books for studying. Digital classrooms are also available and the labs are quite good with all the equipment ready and the surrounding area clean and restrooms are also available in the department of civil engineering. Intra branch and department games are conducted on large grounds of au where the student can free play. Basket and volley courts are also available. Edumoon, communications, and au United are some clubs run by the students.

There are 3 to 4 members accomdated in the room with beds . The hostel sorroundings and restrooma are maintained clean. Healthy food was provided includes milk in the morning leafy vegetables egg. Each day follows different menu. Veg and non veg two categories are available. The registration process was after conforming the seat in the college the student should contact the hostel office along with the joining report and some other certificates like adhar, rank card. Etc. One can register their room in this process and the hostel is affordable 20000 per year. The college attached hostel is located near the college at in gate of the college maddilapalem.

There is no group discussion and interview for the admission, but one should clear the entrance test eapcet conducted by state government. After clearing the exam and getting the rank one should opt for the colleges they wish based on the rank category. Etc Then the student should attend to the counselling and make seat conform by verifiaction of their certificates. If the student doesn't get willing seat they can again opt for second counselling.
