BTECH IN RVR&JCCE GUNTUR

The college management is totally good and yes I will recommend it to my juniors. the only backlog I want to mention is we don't have that much core job placements for EEE & CIVIL branches.

In Andhra Pradesh in order to get into b.tech every student had to go through the entrance exam named EAMCET . By succeeding in that entrance exam the student can opt for btech institutions .And coming to my experience I done my eamcet in 2012 and got admitted in to rvrjcce in btech EEE department. At that time I got a rank of nearly 18000 it is not that bad because I took my exam before the state got separated .RVRJCCE is one of the best college in the state at current , so opted for it .

In btech curriculum plays a key role for any student to learn any thing of the subject which they have opted. And know I am going to explain briefly about the curriculum of RVRJCCE and next followed by EEE curriculum as my branch is EEE. As our college is autonomous from 2012 the syllabus & curriculum is selected by the corresponding departments . we had 8 semesters in course of which 2 semesters per year . In EEE per semester we had around 6 subjects and 3 labs all together 9 in total per semester ,for subject is again sub divided in to internals for 40 marks of 100 & externals for 60 of 100 marks .each subject is awarded with credit points which will be based on both attendance and marks you scored.

After 3rd year 2nd semester all the students have to attend the internship of minimum 15 days for which they will be awarded credit points .the college it self doesn't provide internships , but we have get it on ourselves ,coming to my experience I did my internship at bhel Hyderabad.

Placements are the first thing we have to consider while opting a college for b.tech admission . For RVRJCCE we had a good placement cell and every year about 500 plus students got placed , in 2016 I got passed out in our batch 660 students got placed in different companies our main recruiter is TCS which will take nearly above 150 plus students every year some other main companies are COGNIZANT,TECHMAHINDRA,CAPGEMINI,NTT DATA etc .the average pay scale for every student is about 3.2 lakh per annum .

RvrJCCE is known for cultural events .Every year we had a fest in the month of February or march which include both cultural & technical fest . for the technical fest each branch has to organize their separate events for which we had a active participants from other colleges in state .during the cultural fest we had active participants and we had a chief guest who is a celebrity in the society. we also celebrate some of the specific days like engineers day , womens day celebrations.

At current RVRJCCE is the highest fee paid college in Andhra Pradesh because of its reputation and infrastructure , at present the college fee is 108,000. For 4 years it may be around 5 lakhs excluding transportation charges .according to me I don't think so that our college is paid that high ,It is little bit expensive and not everybody can afford it , I think so around 80,000 is a good one to pay for it.

yes we had a scholarship facility at our college which will cover up to 20,000 per year up 4 years course , and the main criteria to avail this merit scholarship is both poor & merit based.

The campus life is very good since we had a vast campus of 36 acre for every branch we had a separate block . since our college is a co-education we had both genders , I think so we don't have a gender discrimination or caste feeling which is to be a custom in college during early period. we had a student cultural committee names CISCO ,which will play key role in cultural event organization. I feel proud to talk about sports ,we had good college ground where national tournaments took place .we had volleyball court, basket ball court and even had a gym in side the college and in hostel . in our college more frequently workshops are being conducted which will be awarded with certificates.

AS I already mentioned that we had a good infrastructure of 36acers near Guntur ,hostel facility is considered to be very good with good food and facilities , for each room there are 4 students .for boys the hostel facility is with in the campus and for girls the hostel facility is Guntur center with good infrastructure and maintainance for hostels the college may charge up to 40,000 per year . For day scholars we had decent canteen facility with good no items available in it.

The alumni network is very good some of them are settled in PSUS , that alumni network is useful during internships fetching ,and it will also useful in fetching campus placements because most of our alumni are HR .

RVR had semester based system and we had 8 semesters of which 2 semesters for every year and each semester had 6/5 theory subjects and 3 labs .our exam structure is divided as internals and externals ,each subject is awarded with 100 marks of which 40 for internals and 60 for externals and we had 2 internal examinations .in result we had a grading system for 10 cgpa points you marks are converted in to equivalent grade points.

when we talk about EAMCET exam we have to take a barrier of state separation because the process & starting and closing ranks are different then and know .when I took my EAMCET it is 2012 before state separation .so here I am going share the process post separation which can be useful for the current students 2017 .after EAMCET through our RANK we have to attend the counselling which will be a process of 2 steps firstly to attend the counselling for certificate verification ,second part is of option filling in the portal which they had provided after certificate verification .The above mentioned is the process to get admission to btech through EAMCET. to my knowledge the current closing rank for RVRJCCE for general catageories is for ece - 2000 for cse - 2500 mech -3000 eee -4000 & it around 5000.

Faculty is one of the key factor for the success of a student . And when we talk about the faculty we have to specially mention about no of PHD professors in particular branch of that college .In my branch EEE we had 6 PHD professors the are the best part of our branch . the faculty to student ratio is as per AICTE norms . I cant assure you that all are good at teaching but not that bad too I can give 3/5 for faculty
