Remarks

The eligibility for the course is to get a good cutoff in board exams like above 190. You can get application fees and application dates on the college website. There will be SC, ST, and OBC reservations in the counseling process.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I like this course. And a good salary package with 100% placement records in this course. The faculties are good and better in their ways. The teaching methods are good. Passing the exams is easy if you listen to the classes.

There are a lot of companies that offer some good internships with a maximum of 10,000 stipends. Third-year students are also eligible to apply for internships in some departments. For final year projects, you can work outside industries or institutions.

Placement Experience

You can apply for placements from your 6th semester If you have no arrears and get placed in top companies. Top companies like Infosys, HCL visit the campus and almost 90% got placed. IT/CSE/ ECE placements are better than other departments.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarships available for students mainly female students. Ex, Pragati scholarship, seimens scholarship, the foundation for an excellence scholarship, and many others. The financial assistance we get here is very good.

The grand function will be taken care of by the student. They will conduct the function. A lot of clubs which have been students are there. Some of the clubs which I have known. Tamil mandram, Fine arts for artistic people, Rotaract GCT, Student Journalist Council GCT for journalism, Literary and Debating Society, AAC, YRC, NSS, Green club, YCS, IEEE.

Hostel Facilities

Every Middle-class family can afford gct hostel. The accommodation was good in some hostels. The food was not so good. I paid 2000 per month for food and 6500 for the hostel per year.3 people share a room with a bunk bed. it has 2 fans and 2 lights.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements in their final year. Many reputed companies like accenture, TCS, zoho, HCL, etc. visited and many of my friends also got placed with a good package. The highest package from my batch was 50lpa in company called motorq. The average package is around 4lpa.

Placement Experience:

The students become elgible for placements right from the 5th semester of their course work. The students who have no standing arrears become elgibile in the first place. There are many companies visiting the college where Infosys, Cognizant, Virtusa are the mass recruiters. The are many other companies like TCS, Wipro, Zoho etc. visiting the college placement drive. On overall 90% of students gets placed every year. The highest package of 25lakhs per annum was offered by amazon for 3 students. My plans after getting degree is to get placed in any of the company.

From final year students and 3rd-year students eligible for attending the campus placements in this campus so many companies are there like Wipro, wheels India, so many IT companies in this average package starting as 18000 to 40000 students should have a minimum percentage of 6.80cgpa eligible for placement I completed the degree I got a placement on IT company.

A detailed review on GCT Coimbatore - Most affordable college of Asia.

In the admission process i applied only for government colleges like anna university chennai, gct coimbatore, gce salem, thiagaraja college madurai like that. Because i cant afford private college, among these government colleges gct coimbatore remains my first choice and got the admission in there. The main reason of choosing this college is affordable fee structure and good placement statistics. The admission process for government colleges are purely through Counselling process, there is no management quota. Based on our 12 th mark, a cutoff for 200 marks will be calculated. In this 100 marks from maths and 50 from physics and 50 from chemistry will be accounted. Then a rank list will be released based on this cutoff mark incl all applicants, it is called general rank list. There will be other rank list like community rank list where the rank will be grouped by community such as BC, MBC, SC/ST. Every college will release a seat matrix based upon their vacancy. Student have to fill a choice list based on their interest. And based on the rank, the software will check the vacancy for seats in the choice order and finally college is alloted.
