Remarks

Eligibility is not much high its only 60% on the 12th board. You can find the application form, application fees and application dates on the website of the college and other things too. There are very less reservation benefits.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like accounts so that's why I chose BCom. 1:20 is the faculty-student ratio. Faculties are mostly graduated and they have masters degree too. Their teaching methods are good. 6months. It is moderately hard.

Internships Opportunities

H&m,Zara, Tcs,Tata etc are the companies came for internship opportunities for our college. Projects were moderately tough like accouting, economics. Internship experience was quite good, a lot was there to learn.

Placement Experience

Placements are moderately good around 60% of the students are selected and you can choose to pursue CA, CMA, and CS kind of exams after completing the course. Students become eligible for campus placement from the 5th semester. The highest package has gone to 8lakhs per annum and the average package is 3lakhs per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of my course is 25000 per semester for BCom Hons. There is a scholarship on the basis of 12th board marks. College gives financial aid to weaker sections. Various companies come to campus to get candidates directly with a stipend of around 20000-30000p.m

Campus Life

Life on campus is very nice. There is no ragging. Faculties are helpful. UMANG is the name of the annual fest and it occurs in December every year. There are a lot of books available in the library and requires very less process to have them!

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

The besc life

I applied to scottish church, jaipuria college and goenka college of commerce Got confirmed from the first two but bhawanipur had the best discipline , teacherd and a smooth easy process and the best campus.it has a ragging free enviroment which is best for me . THE FACTS OF BESC

I applied only for besc and I entered I didn't use quota admission Minimum masks for entry be 65% in best of 4 for evening batch whereas 85% for morning batch (can be changed on the points of performance and talents) there is no age limit for entry The admission process was easy i.e fill out admission form online check name on the admission list released pay the admission fee + yearly fees submission of form in college health check up in college collect your Identification card and you are enrolled in bhawanipur education society college...Read More
