Guide for ,should you join RKGIT ?

I took admission in this college by UPSEEE entrace exam. But as this exam was discontinued in 2020 so admission are taken on behalf of IIT JEE merit or on 12 marks basis. My rank in UPSEEE was 12000 and I easily get admission in CSE branch here. For getting admission here I go through UPSEEE counselling in counselling you have to submit 20000 rupee fees for freezing your seat. If you do not like your college you can float you seat. You can easily get benifit related to reservation because there are a lot of scholarships provided by the state government to the minorities. At my time the counselling and admission process took at least 20 to 30 days. It was not good for students. But now the admission in this college are mostly direct and student get admission here on basis of jee rank or 12 marks . If you have 90+ percent in your 12 you can easily get admission in CSE branches. The admission process is quite simple now a days.

The course curriculum is not that updated we still are studying those subject which were taught in 1980's . My branch is new in the University and I am the first batch student of this course so you can easily assume the quality of the content delevered in the class. Academically the syllabus is good but it is not able to provided some strong base to the student for their good placement. The faculty of the college is mediocre not that good and not that bad. It is somewhat between both of them. Most of the lectures are M.Tech and some have very good teaching methodology. There are two Semester Exams and one pre university exam and 5 Unit Test and a ton of assignments here. Passing the exams is not that difficult . Most of the question are predefined from the syllabus. If you go through the syllabus you can easily score high marks.

Placement of the college is average. Most of the companies come her are mass recruiters like TCS , Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Accenture, Infocus, Infosys, Capgemini, Geminisolutions. Highest Package offered is 30 lpa but no one was able to grab in in the campus. Average package is 5 lpa . Percentage of student placed is more than 80 percent.

The fees is at its higher side it almost 120000 per year. You have to submit all you fees in the beginning of every odd semester. There is also a fine of 100 rupee per day if you are not able to pay your fees at time. There is no mercy for the financial condition . No one will help you in this matter. The scholarship was not available for our first year but now scholarships are available. Scholarships are provided by the government of Uttar Pradesh.

There is no annual fest like things here . Annual fest here are not celebrated annualy they are celebrated after 3 to 4 years if the college management wants to do so. The only thing which is good in this college is its library. It has a very good library which have almost everkind of book. But there is a lot of fine if you do not pay your fine here. Class room have projectors which sometime do not work well. Most of the Classrooms have AC which do not work well. There is only a volleyball coach here. A fully functioned Gym is there with a very good trainer. Gym is open for both hostlers and day scholars. There are a lot of societies here but NEBULA society is most famous and most career focused society of this campus. It helps students to gain appropriate skills needed for better placement. It teach skills like Artificial Intelligence ,IOT . Data structures ,blockchain, Web 3 , Webdevelopment and Astronomy.
