Life at BVM!

Eligibility was the GUJCET exam conducted for science stream students and also one can get admission through JEE but it has limited seats for that. I got admission through ACPC govt institutions who help to get admission I applied for it and through the ranking system, I got admission. The admission process was smooth I had to submit my documents and pay the fees then register on the ERP portal of the college. I haven't availed of any reservation quota because I hail from the general category.

I was interested in machines and automobiles since my childhood and that's why I chose the mechanical engineering course at college. Faculties are well qualified some of them are from Top IITs also and PhDs. They have written many books also. Exams are very very very rough after attending regular classes and doing things in the time you can barely score 70%. Papers are also checked very strictly which in a way demotivates the students.

In the 6th semester, placements are offered to the students and many prominent companies came every year and place the students. Companies like TCS, MG motors, Elecon, L&T, etc. come for placement in our college. Around 40% is the placement ratio of students with a 5.5 LPA average package. I plan to do our private family business.

Fees are regulated by the government as I am studying in a grant in aid (GIA) course I have to pay somewhere around 6500/- rupees for a year and self-finance options fees are around 167000/-. Such self-finance students can get MYSY, mukhyamantri svalamban yojana scholarship.

The annual fest here is called UDDAN and sports activities are happening often here. Extracurricular activities like expert talks, workshops, and skill development programs usually happen. Classes have smart boards and smart aids which help to study better. Many groups are run by students like TRS, SAE BAJA, IEI, etc.
