Remarks

As per my experience here in DAV COLLEGE JAL everything is good at its best. Also it is the best college in the north India as per N.A.A.C. as on 4 point scale, DAV got 3.76,the highest in north India Private colleges.

Entrance Preview

I've appeared for JEE mains in the year 2015 but was unable to qualify. But as per my interest in computer and related things I took BCA here at DAV college jalandhar.

Internships Opportunities

Since I am a first year student, I've no information about it. But there are several companies that do visited our college like Eccentric,aakash etc.

Placement Experience

I just know that right in now in the last few months 2 companies visited our college. Both are big names are eccentrix and Aakash. About the placements, as per our teacher told us, about 90 students got placements in eccentrix but I don't know about Aakash right now.

College Events

Till now no cultural programmes are held in our college. But in nov-dec we are going to have a youth fare.Later in the month of Jan they'll be having a tech fest where we all have to take part. let's see what they've got also,there was talent hunt where new talent was hunted up and I got rejected in that.

Fees and Financial Aid

Lots of scholarship programmes are provided by our college. I've not availed any because all are given on the basis of caste system. But some scholarships such as ncc scholarships are available for us and I am going to aply for it soon.

Campus Life

Campus life is good.It feels to good to go to college everyday.We've got good friend,excellent and interactive teaching staff,nice faculty, best conditioned facilities that makes us feel like home.About the gender ratio, boys are a bit more than girls.It's almost 50-50.Discrimination in scholarship programmes is there.Not really rich people join DAV .College environment is best suited for acadmeic growth with a lot of positivity factor in it.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is very big at DAV college jal. Two colleges students reside there. Girls hostel is separate.College hostel is divided into many parts. Faculty and facilities, not are excellent.They've got gym,swimming pools inside their hostels only. Some branche

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are awesome. No ragging takes place. They are helping. They are responsible, good natured, mentally and physically strong and a good human being. It feel safer being with them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculumn of chandigarh university is releavant and covers core subjects with projects and labs. It support basic industry readiness, but pratical exposure can improve. Exam are held mid and the end semester with modern difficulty. More hands on experience and updated technoilogies would enhance overall effectiviness and career prepartions.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type then run spell check. Technology is changing our NEEDS opinion is that curriculum should reflect our reality. No one gets paid to solve problems that have already been solved. Students should be exposed to solving problems they have not seen before but that can be solve with the content they have learned in class. This will help them develop problem solving strategies they will be able to use the rest of their lives

Placement Experience:

i can talk about college placement till now in my college, as far as i have seen, placement start after the 2nd year of BCA and 3rd year of B.tech, but first there is atest and interview. if the one who gets good marks in the paper will be selected for the next interview, otherwise he will not be selected. in my college, B.tech students get more placement because the get intership in ther last semester, though which they get placements too. till now, B.tech students have been able to placement and otherwise Bca students have did not place by college placement you will own search by non-campus placement

Life inside Synetic College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had a lot of interest in programming languages and in computer and how computer works. In future ,technology and application will be widely used . This course is appropriate for choosing according to my interest. This curriculum prepares me alot for this real world applications because future generation is totally dependent on AI tools or technology . I suggest in improvement of modernising technology, you have to focus on practicals for this curriculum. The exams are correct like starting at 9 :30 and ends at 12 :30 . Each student have different timing for their exams according to their course.

My experience at Bikram college of commerce

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is not relevant anymore. BCA is like new BA, but a sophisticated one. Everybody's doing BCA nowadays. I can't figure out the reason. But skill based learning is lacking and sadly this course is providing nothing but degree holding unskilled graduates (most of them). Though some who really explore the skills and work on themselves are achieving good jobs.
