Get to know about RGUKT basar

Students who got merit marks in 10th can apply for Rajiv Gandhi University. There is a reservation for backward-scheduled people. There is no entrance exam. People can apply at the university's official website. I applied with the help of the Mee Seva Centre near my home. Then we need to send our application form to the university. I sent my application using speed post. After releasing a selected list of students, we can check the selection on the official website. Then we will get a calling letter from the university. We need to appear for counseling along with the calling letter and related certificates mentioned in the calling letter.

I choose Computer science and engineering because this is the trending course now. Most of the faculty have done master's. About 35 percent of faculty have doctorates. They are highly educated and professional. Easy explanation and more care towards students. Coming to exams, we have 3 mid-term tests and 1 end semester exam in a semester. 15 marks for 1 mid and best of two mid marks will be selected which is 30 to count along with the end semester exam which is 60 and assignment marks 10.

There are fewer internships offered. For CSE and ECE students, there is one internship is completed. That is a remote internship provided by IIIT Hyderabad focusing on NLP. No stipend but they taught us python in return. Projects will start in BTech's 3rd year. In 3rd year Minor project. In the 4rth year, we need to choose a technology and we need to work under the supervision of the faculty whom we select as our guide.

From B.Tech 4th year, campus placements will start. A lot of companies will visit. Mostly, CSE people have a lot of companies to get hired. But remaining course people also getting jobs in the IT sector. The highest package is 11LPA, and the average is 5LPA. 50 percent or fewer people will be placed, remaining students opt for higher education and their startups.

The scholarship will be provided for students through Telangana Epass. For management quota students, they need to pay. Campus placements are there. For on-campus placement, we need to go with the procedure mentioned by the university. There are some rules regarding placements. Tata, Infosys, Wipro, and epam, are some of the big companies coming to hire. Even though startup companies provide good CTC.

There are a lot of social clubs. Hope House is the one club that plays a crucial role on our campus. Hope house collects money from students and faculty and gives it to people who are in an emergency. It is a good initiative taken by university people. Sports clubs and coding clubs and literature clubs there are various clubs at our university. We can join in those. There are a lot of fests and events. Asian biggest technical fest is done in rgukt basar every year. Remaining events like every university. Classrooms are the best, with good furniture and rotating chairs and every class has a projector and LAN connection is there.

There is no rent. It is a residential university. In PUC's first year we live in a hostel room where a room consists of 20 beds. In PUC 2nd year, 4 members per room. In B.Tech 2 members per room. A room consists of light, fan, and socket compared to members in the room. Every year classes and the rooms will change and people will shuffle. Meal quality is average. There is a customer menu.
