Remarks
There was an exam CET for getting admission to GGSIPU colleges. I secured a 9386 rank in that exam after that I applied on the GGSIPU site to get into counselling rounds. At that time there were 3 normal rounds and one spot round to get a college. I got a college in the first round but I chose guru teg bahadur institute of technology that I got into 3rd round of counselling.
Course Curriculum Overview
BTECH - Electronics and communication engineering, I chose this course because ECE is an evergreen branch as you can easily go into full electronics and communication, also you can move to the IT sector easily as well. The faculty was very nice and helpful to students with fully equipped labs, 60 students were in my class at that time. We were able to use every piece of equipment with educated lab staff. Qualifications were like MTECH, BTECH, PHD teachers. Teaching methods were very simple and teaching with the help of notes. Internal tests and external tests, few class tests and surprise tests were conducted
Placement Experience
7th-semester students are eligible for placements. DXC Technology - 80 students Amazon (For cloud support) - 1 student Amazon (SDE ) - 2 students ZS Associates - 25 students Big data - 3 students TCS: 10-15 Infosys- 20 students Wipro - 10 students Highest - 30 lakh CTC, 3.6 lakh CTC 80-90 per cent of students were placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
At starting, I submitted 1,15000 rupees including tuition fees, admission fees and library charges. 2nd year to 4th year my fee was 1,01600 rupees. After 1 year fees was increased from 78000 to 1,01600 No scholarships were provided to any student
Campus Life
Gates - Annual techno-cultural fest was inducted. IEEE day - IEEE tech fest is celebrated every year on IEEE day. All books were available to students from the library and course books were issued to students as they were charged for that at starting. After completing the semester submit old books and get new books for the semester. Amenities: whiteboards, desks, AC classes. Sports day was celebrated at the GGSIPU campus which includes all sports. Although the college campus does not have any ground, so we used to manage at hari Nagar sports complex. Clubs and societies: IEEE, Dlang chaps, Etcetera, g-sharp
