Short review from IETian

At my time the entrance exam was taken by AKTU named UPSEE but after that, the entrance exam is taken by JEE-Mains and the counseling is done by AKTU. The admission process is quite smooth. The application form for Jee mains, you can find it on NTA's official website. Application fees are around 650 to 700 for the general category. Other reservations like SC, ST, OBC, and EWS are provided if you provide valid documents.

I wanted to opt for CSE but my rank was not good enough to get CSE in this college so I choose civil engineering as in our you get plenty of help to prepare for the GATE/IES exam because coaching and others are nearby situated. The faculty here is very nice to students. The professors here are quite impressively qualified from good places. There is one end sem exam and two CTs in one semester and the difficulty level was appropriate.

The internship opportunities here are very low you have to find internships on your own. The project opportunities here are also low as nobody here focuses on the project. If you want to do a project they will guide you.

The placements here for civil engineers and chemical engineers are very poor but for others, it is quite good, especially for coding students they have a lot of opportunities in our college and the package is also good. The highest package was 49 LPA. The percentage of students is also good.

The tuition fee structure here is normal as it is Rs85000 for a year and a scholarship is also provided by the UP government of nearly Rs56000 which helps us a lot. The private jobs in civil engineering are very less but in other branches like CSE or IT or ECE are very good. The companies here pay them a good package.

The annual fest here is not so good if you compare it to other colleges like IITs or NITs. All branches have different fest in which different events have been organized in different months. The library here is very good, all the requirements are completed. The clubs there are many singing, dancing, acting, robotics, programming, and social clubs are also there. Overall the infrastructure is good.

The hostel facility is average but also the hostel fees are also very low compared to other colleges. Basic needs like beds are given. The cleanliness is also good in colleges and hostels. The mess here gives average quality meals and the expense for mess is around Rs17000 per semester. The pg and other facilities are also there near our college.
