Remarks
You can apply for this college after you clear JEE Mains examination with a good percentile. My category is OBC so there was not much difference related to general. Got a few advantages only. improvement can be done in many ways by making the hostel to 100% students and also in terms of infrastructure wise it can be improved.
Course Curriculum Overview
As my branch is mechanical so the course is a little bit hard. But if you have an interest in the mechanical branch then it will be fun for you. And the faculty is very senior here they have huge experience in teaching so faculty members are good.
Internships Opportunities
I'm currently in 2nd year and I don't know much about the internship. Here the internship opportunities are provided by the college but not for all. Only a few get the chance. So many people go for private internships.
Placement Experience
The placement of Nit Raipur is good. And it's improving year by year. Here the core people if they studied before and have the knowledge about the core can also get placed here. Many people opt for higher studies so they don't focus on the placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure varies according to your family income. If your parent's income is less than 1 lakh then 100% remission in the fee. If your family income is between 1 lakh to 5 lakh then 1/3th of the total fees is required. If your family income is above 5 lakh then the total amount you need to pay I.e 130000. Here the people also get lots of benefits from various scholarships provided by the state government and central government.
Campus Life
Here campus life is good if you make good friends. It will be so much Flfun to enjoy on the campus with your friends. Also, the NIT Raipur is famous for clubs and committees, they organize the hell lots of fun activities, fests, etc. The Avaartan is one of the greatest and biggest fests of Central INDIA organized by team Technocracy. And shruti is organized by Raga the music club. etc... In terms of infrastructure wise Nit Raipur can improve, but the buildings are very old and not maintained.
Hostel Facilities
Only a few students get the hostel according to their performance. And that's the point where I personally don't like college. Because some of our friends live outside so they can't enjoy the hostel life. If there were 100% hostel accommodation then it's really amazing. The fee structure for a year is around 45000. The rooms are big furnished. you need to arrange a cooler yourself in summer.
