Remarks
The admission into this course is based on the marks obtained in NEET UG. The Assam Government releases a merit list of the students and admission is based on it. I got 560/720 in NEET UG 2022 Applied for counseling and got admission into this college. The application is available on the website DME.assam.com during September month. I belong to the general category so not availed of any type of reservation.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose the course as my parents wanted to see me as a surgeon. This college is near to my hometown so I choose this college. The student's faculty ratio is around 15:1. The teachers are highly qualified, they teach theory lesson on the projector and they teaches practical lesson in clinics and hospitals. All the faculty are passed-out a doctor so they are highly experienced. A total of 3 3-semesterxams are conducted and 1 professional exam is conducted by University. We need to work hard to pass the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
The total fees per year are around 60k which include tuition fees of 31k, cost of tbookingook around 10k, mess fees per month of 1700, and dress prices. The overall is very much less than any private medical College. We also get a scholarship from the government of India based on merit. Also, various NGOs provides a scholarship for our studies. We get a stipend of rs 31k per month during the internship.
Campus Life
The annual fest is ESPERANZA. It's conducted in October every year. During the annual fest, our college authority organizes various competitions like inter-college dance, song, sports, arts, etc. Our library has a wide collection of books and magazines. We are also involved in various sports, and drama clubs.
