Kanoria, a college to choose or not?

Anyone with a decent percentage in the 12th standard is eligible for admission. Application forms are available at the college itself and dates may vary from college to college although this college might consider a late application as well. There may be some reservations and benefits but not many I suppose. The admission process is smooth. Although the college must improve its services as in graduation mostly I have prepared on my own. You can never actually rely on college notes and you have to do it on your own.

I chose this course due to my deep interest in Economics. The student ratio is very less. There were about 20-25 students in my class and it was only one section. Exams are conducted annually, as the college is affiliated with Rajasthan University. But the college itself must conduct exams from time to time which were not there. The faculty is qualified but they are not dedicated to students as per requirement. I have felt that I should not rely completely on their sources and rather study on my own

There are several internships offered. And quite a few companies did come to the college for placements. Student must have in-depth knowledge of what she has studied in past 3 years of graduation so as to secure good placement with a decent package

I don't have any idea about college placement as I never took a part in it, the reason being I didn't find it worthwhile. Well, there might be some students getting placements. I am planning for MA in Economics but definitely not from this college.

The course fee is 15k per annum for 3 years. I found it a little expensive when compared to the minimum services provided by the college. And I didn't get any scholarship also I didn't apply for any internship

Class amenities are average. No such enthusiastic sports activities. Extracurricular activities are the one area college must put its focus on. Books were quite enough in the library but of the very old editions. There are several groups and clubs in college you can join them by paying a minimum fee.
