Faculties are good, they also help you for your semesters as well as for your project. The difficulty level of the exams is average, but if you are studying well then it will be easy. If you are also doing any professional course like CA, CMA, or CS with B.com then you won't find any difficulties with exam

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunities provided by the college in various companies and startups. You just have to be qualified for applying for the internship. The stipend is also good for beginners.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are very nominal if you compare them with other colleges, it's only 5000 for 1 year. Also, you can get a scholarship if your financial condition is not good by providing some proof relating to your family income.

Campus Life

College life is good you can make many friends out there, The common room is good. There are smart classrooms too, and canteen food is average (as expected from any mess). The library is good you can take books for a much longer time they don't charge any fees for a late submission. There are many books available for a different course

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
