Direct admission is done, if your name come's in merit list. Admission form can be found in website of collage. Application fee is nil and course fee is apporx 5000 per year. Application for registration start after the results are out of class 12

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is essential for a commerce background student. Its a graduation degree one shall obtain for a nice job. There are 2-3 teachers for each subject.And students are around 1000(divded into batchs)

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Placement Experience

Semerster for which the students become eligible for placement is semester six(last semester). Companies like wipro, tata consultancy service (TCS), etc visits collage for offer numbers of placement. After getting this degree go for a profeeional course

Fees and Financial Aid

As this is a government based collage, it have very low hike in fees. Cost to study for ful course maybe 20000 including semester fee. If you are eligible for scholarship can recover the amount from that only.

Campus Life

There is a library with capacity of many students and almost every books and journals required for the course. There is a space for cricket and a club with many sports like, carrom, chess, table tennies, etc to play.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
