Remarks

Easy admission process. Any commerce student can take admission. The application form is available on the website of the college and can also be availed from the office of the college's main branch. Reservation benefits can be availed. The admission process is up to the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members are great their way of teaching is good and they are very interactive with the students as well. There are different teachers for each subject. The faculty is easy to reach out to when in need.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is as such that. 1st year 5000 including admission fees. 2nd year 3000 yearly fees. 3rd year again 3000 yearly fees. And if you can avail scholarship from the state govt then it will cover 100% of the college fees.

Campus Life

The campus is pretty old considering the life of the college. Regular renovations are done from time to time in order to mention a neat environment. The classroom is big in size and can accommodate 50-80 students at a time.

There are placements in the college campus in the last semester with several companies coming for interviews such as big 4 and big 6 companies and the placements are around 60000-70000 per month after the course.

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
