Remarks

At the time of my admission, it was based on the result and the entrance exam was not taken. The application form for taking admission is present on the official website of the college itself. There are no such benefits for reservation as per my knowledge. There are many cases where the application form gets rejected due to server errors which must be resolved.

I have a keen interest in political science so I pursued with political science Hons. for my graduation. The faculty is good and very supportive of students. The 6 best professors have done Ph.D. and MA. in respective fields and they are very experienced and knowledgeable. The exams are conducted timely before the semester exams.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the course are minimal as the fees per semester nearly go 3k and it is neither increased nor decreased for a very long time. There are many scholarship programs which are there in the college and students belonging to ST/SC caste can appeal for some fee relief if they are unable to pay the full fees.

Campus Life

Campus life is simple and calm. There are fresher and fest each year which are conducted during the 1st quarter of each year. Books and journals are present in huge quantities inside the library. Classroom amenities are good as there is a big green board, benches, chairs, light, and fans. There are no such outdoor sports activities for us but indoor sports are present and sometimes inter-sem competitions took place for indoor games. There is also a mini hum in the college. There are no social groups or clubs run by the students.

The field tricks are done sometimes to make us understand the reality and the course is really good. I love that and the field trip helps us a lot to explain and to learn things that happening around us and foods are provided from the school or sometimes on trips, I'm really happy with my college.

A place to enhance skills

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because it has lots of scope in future to get a job and also it is a good subject or my National language. In this college lots of faculty has been given to the students. Well, I am also a new student but I can say that all teaching and non teaching staff and also the office staff are very humble to the students and they help us a lot. I am in B.A. 1st year student and lots of faculty has been given by our beloved teachers and office staff. The teachers are very humble by nature and the way they taught us is really mind blowing I am very grateful that I am a student of those teachers. In every 6 months, you have to give one semester examination and as I already told you that I am a new student and my exam is in February month so I do not have experience with the paper and how difficult it to pass but I can say you read properly you can pass the exam in Good marks.

SAJC - From The Eye of a Student.

There was only 3 better colleges I couldn't apply to. They were St.Xaviers Kolkata, Goenka and Maulana Azad. Seth Anandram Jaipuria College is among the top 5 colleges and is well known. It is also the best college in North Kolkata, some might not agree to me though. The deciding factors for me were very low fees, decent quality teachers, and the most important, quality of crowd and reputation of the college.
