Admission was based on jee mains percentile, we can go for counseling, there we can choose the name of the college and branch and opt for the institute of technology and management Gwalior as i took computer science so for computer science if you get 48- 50 percentile in jee mains still you will get the admissions in ITM, Gwalior , and we can also go to college 2for choice filling college will itself do everything and there is reservation available for students that belong to SC , ST overall the admission process is very smooth college will help and guide you at every step
Course Curriculum Overview
The computer science and engineering branch faculty are good in ITM, Gwalior, there are some new faces in the faculty but the old faculty is helpful, and classes are conducted promptly most of the faculties have done MTech but I have got to know every faculty has to done Ph.D. in the subjects so faculties are doing so it has become mandatory in ITM, I would say faculties are good for clearing exams and if you follow them you can easily score well in the college exams as far as placements are concerned different pieces of training and workshops are conducted but it's better to self prepare from the starting instead of blindly relying on College.
Internships Opportunities
Tap cell college also provides internship opportunities Companies like nagara and virtues come in for internships and also the startups from the college provides internship opportunity with stipend like fizrobotics is a startup of this college that provides internship opportunity, but most of the companies allow work from home does not give stipend but they give PPO sometimes.
Placement Experience
from 7t sem onwards students can sit in placements companies like TCS, Wipro, Nagar, Infosys, and DXC, cognizant visit every year, and companies like virtuosa, and HCL offer a good amount of packages in the college last year the average package was 5 lakhs per year and the highest package goes around 10 to 15 lakh. if you belong to the CSE branch there is a 90 % chance of getting on campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is based on RGPV(Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwa Vidyalaya) guidelines as ITM is affiliated to RGPV, I have seen in the last 5 -6 there is no fee- hike but apart from 38500(tution fee) if you opt for buses and in first year its mandatory for everyone you will have to pay 8000 for every semester and there is training and placement cell(TAP cell) fee also that is 14000 and it is divided into the 4-year fee you don't have to pay in one installment. and it is not mandatory to pay for tap cell if you want you can choose tap cell otherwise not, and there is also a 4000 fee for bec preliminary English exam and this also has to be paid in 4 years and it is also not necessary and as far as scholarship is concerned SC, ST and OBC students will get the scholarship given by MP government
Campus Life
There are several fests organized in the college as far as tech fests I have not seen many in the college but the college organizes, There is a library present on the campus and I would say the library is good here you will get all the course-related books here you don't have to buy it from outside and as far as sport is concerned there are hardly 1 - 2 sport related activities happen but yes grounds are present you can go and play there in free time there is no restriction over there as long as you are playing by bunking classes, almost all the club is present in the college you take part in these clubs in 1st year of college.
