The admission process is merit-based. Must have passed +2 from a recognised board The application form is easily available on the college website There are seats reserved for Obc, sc, and st quota The admission process is quite simplified and easy

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because I want to complete my graduation with a bachelor of commerce accounts Hons. The student ratio is almost equal in the college The college has great faculty and its teaching methods are very unique. Terms exams were on time, the exam papers were a bit tough.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 5000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides many scholarship opportunities and there are on-campus job interviews held. The fee for bcom Hons. for 3 years is Rs.15000 that is Rs. 5000 per year. The fee structure is very impressive in accordance with the facilities that the college provides.

There are 2 campuses of the college. Both are spacious. There are programs held by college authorities on various occasions. Library facility is also available on both campuses The classrooms are well equipped with lights, fans and large desks and a spacious room Extracurricular activities are held at regular intervals

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The aspects of the curriculum which really influenced my decision was building the foundation of accounting to holding expertise, which was aligned with my goal of studying CA. The curriculum used to be upto date which give us a real time exposure. The exam used to take place in every 3 months.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
