Eligibility fo this course Has to be CAT cutoffs (Different for different categories). Application forms are available on IIMCAT.ac.in, Application fees: 2300. Reservation not availed. No improvement in the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is the best track that I could choose given my Undergrad and opportunities. Faculty: Student= 1:25 Ph.D., teaching methodology differs, and generally includes cases. 12 weeks, not very difficult to pass, more difficult to score well.
Internships Opportunities
All the companies which come for the final placements also visit for internships. The average stipend is 1.5 lakh per month. More detail can be found in the placement report published. Projects vastly differ based on the company and the role offered.
Placement Experience
From 1st semester itself. All the top companies visit the campus. More detail can be found on the placement report. The highest is 80 Lakh, the average is 32 lakh. 100% of students got placed. Working in corporate for few years.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are 23 Lakh for the program, but it got hiked to 25 Lakh for the '22 batch. The cost of study includes overhead maintenance and hostel fees. No fee hike policy as such. Need-Based Financial assistance is given to students with an annual family income of less than 8 lakh.
Campus Life
7 Lakes Fest- November. Plenty of material is available in the library both online and offline. State-of-the-art classrooms in the New academic block. High emphasis on sports and extracurricular activities. All the clubs are run by the students.
Hostel Facilities
Basic amenities include a bed, table, chair, and cupboard. The meal varies from hostel to hostel. Quality of meal is generally good with a variety of things offered. Automatic registration for first-year students. The second year get to select.
Interview Experience
No GD or Written test. Only interview was there. The interview was on a standard template, based on the information you provide them. Shortlist for interviews based on CAT score, 10th score, 12th score, work ex, and gender. There was only one round, I prepared by working on personals and GK.
