Remarks
College is good overall. Take any GMERS if you are getting it. It would be worth it as the fees are affordable and the staff is government professors. Don't wait for full government college, you may waste your time. The infrastructure is good and hygienic. It has the best hostel in all of Gujarat. Very spacious rooms and balcony. Good security. Campus life is good. There are many grounds for different activities and sports. Dedicated Gymnasium. As it is a medical College, placement is 100%.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because MBBS was my dream degree. It has good benefits. Good earnings. Faculty: student ratio would be 1:15 All facilities are supremely qualified and very knowledgeable. They teach by ppt and teach you thoroughly. The exam schedule is very tight. There are exams after every unit ends. There are two internal exams. 1 major exam. And 1 main University exam.
Internships Opportunities
It's MBBS college so no other companies are allowed inside the college but we get internships at our own hospital and we get a salary of 18000 per month. Every student has to perform the internship at their own college and perform in all subjects and all departments around-wise.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it is semi government college. The fee hike is up to the government. In recent few years, the fees have been not changed. There are many scholarships and government assistance one can opt for. MYSY is one scholarship. No job is given on campus and a stipend is given 18000 to only intern students.
Campus Life
The best thing about GMERS Patan is its festival celebration. We celebrate all festivals. There may be a celebration every month. Annual fest, annual sports meet. Days celebration etc. All useful books on MBBS are available in the college library. But there are no entertainment books. The classroom has A.C., a projector, and a comfortable seating arrangement. It has a good scope of sports. All grounds are there. There is no social club
Hostel Facilities
Every student gets a hostel facility. with 2 students per room. Very spacious rooms. Rooms have very much ventilation. Chair and table, cupboard, cleaning facilities. Every hostel has its own mess. You can join any hostel mess. The price for mess is 2300 per month and it includes 3 meals. Decent quality food. Registration is very easy. Just see the student section and they will help you with admission. There are no PG or rooms nearby as the college is situated in a village.
