The admission process was from merit cut-off. It was based on the 12th percentile. First, you have to go to Epravesh MP Portal and apply for the undergraduate course or postgraduate course based on what you want to do. Then after a few days of filling out the application form, you get the option to the choice filling in the college and the course subjects. You can go to the college and see the availability of courses of your choice along with the fee structure. Then after Applying for the choice filling, your application form is completed and you have to pay 1000/- rupees application fees. All information on your application form is available on the Epravesh portal. Keep your application no. And password handy while applying. There are three rounds for applying to college and then based on empty seats, the college gives out several rounds through direct college-level counseling. The admission process is quite hectic. Although it's a government college it should provide good instructions.

I chose this course based on my interest in the research wing. The faculty-student ratio is 1:100, most faculties are guest faculties. College hires them based on the requirements. The faculties are quite educated as well as have experience teaching through smart boards which makes it easy for students to grasp the knowledge. The college exams take around once in 5 months per sem. The difficulty is moderate based on how you study. The internal marking is quite not easy. You have to do assignments and CCEs the entire semester.

Because it's a govt college and by comparing with other colleges, the fees are quite low. It's 15400 per year. And in addition to the exam fees for each semester and other costs, it goes up to 18000. College accepts the government scholarships like medhavi chatra yojana, sambal yojana, and Post metric scholarships for special categories. To avail of this scholarship, you need to follow certain criteria which are available on their websites. (These scholarships are mainly for Madhya Pradesh students only).

Till now there was no annual fest or tech fest but activities go around each month in each field. The classrooms are with good infrastructure and modern furniture with a smart board in each class. There's no air conditioning but fans maintain the temperature below intolerable point in summer. There is a volleyball, tennis and basketball court for each sport. There is a cricket ground that is always busy with matches and NCC training. The college does not allow students to run websites on their own. There is a social group called NSS which does social work in the college.
