Eligibility for this course is to give an entrance exam named CUET You can find this form on the site NTA, the fee for the application is 500 and it occurred in April, every year. There is relaxation for sc/st applicants, they need to pay only 200 rupees for the CUET exam. The exam is held for nearly 2 months which is a very long period it should be little. Admission is based on the counselling process
Course Curriculum Overview
I want to explore the field of Linguistics, to learn about languages that's why I have chosen this course and heard that this university has the best course in linguistics. There are 3 batches total till now super seniors are from MSc 1st year, and we have 3 faculty members till now which is less in the no. This course needs more faculty members. We have 17 students in our class. The teachers are very good at teaching. They have done pHD from foreign universities. We have 2 female teachers and one male teacher. We have 5 subjects per sem + 2 practical subjects every semester, in last year we will have only linguistics subjects will remain. Linguistics subject is easy to pass but maths and computer science are very hard to pass
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for the first sem is 10k and for 2nd sem is 5990. After that, for each sem, it is 5990 And the hostel fee for every sem is 5990 and for sc/st students it is free. There is no scene for a scholarship No on-campus placement
Campus Life
There are some clubs to for activities like singing, dancing and art culture there is a Sargam club, art culture club, poetry club, dance club and drama club. Students do organize on competition weekly and monthly basis
Hostel Facilities
Room is small for boys in comparison to girls' there are 8 hostels in total 5 for girls and 3 for boys they provide one ceiling fan and one tube light, 3 charging points, one almirah, two beds, two mattresses for each room in boys hostel, they provide some pantry rooms for students who have medical issues. There is a mega mess for boys, the quality of the mess is average, and the fee for mess is 12k for 6 months which is not as good as the mess food quality. To get a hostel room you have to submit a hostel accommodation form to the caretaker of the respective hostel. There is no scene for pg as the campus is in a rural area.
