Student experience of Sathyabama

Students who scored more than 60 % in their class 12 are eligible for applying. You can find the application form on sathyabama.ac.in the website. Also, you can contact them directly through the mobile number given on the website. There are two ways to join this college. One is joining through an entrance examination and another is Management quota. Most of the people are through management quota.

I chose the Computer science engineering course because it had the best placement comparing all other branches of my college. Talking about faculty, they are good enough to teach us. Though they are not the best, still they teach your courses in a better way. Per class, it's 60 students per faculty. Talking about exams, they conduct two internal exams called as Continuous Assessment exam and the One End semester examination. The continuous Assessment exam happens for 50 marks maximum, it happens twice. So the total of both exams is converted for a maximum of 50 marks. While end semester examination is conducted for 100 marks and is converted to 50 marks. So both the continuous Assessment exam and end semester examination together are calculated and given a final mark for the semester.

Talking about placement in my college, it really good for computer science students. They get vast offers, mostly product-based and many service-based companies visits. Both multinational companies and startups do visit. Your placement will start right from the start of the fourth year. The average package offered will be around 3.5 lakhs per annum. While highest packages may go more than 40 lakhs per annum as well It's all about how better you perform in your interviews and everything.

Talking about the fee structure of my college, it's really expensive comparing all other colleges. For my batch 2020-2024. I paid 250000 for my first year, 205000 for the second year, 205000 for the third year and 210000 for the final year. Excluding this, you may have to pay 20000 for your placement training. You can also apply for bank loans, they provide all support from the college side to help you in getting educational loans.

Talking about entertainment, cultural, annual fest, etc. My college is very poor in it. Yearly once one annual fest will happen, they will invite some movie actors and make them speak. Rather than that there won't be any other fest happening in my college. The classroom infrastructure is very bad, all benches will be broken. It will give vibes to old government schools. Then about the website for students, Yes there exists a website called sathyabama LMS. Where we can access all our course material, task, assignment, news, updates and everything. Which is really helpful
