Good college with amazing placements and peer groups

I got admission to IGDTUW, via JEE Mains exam. I had to apply through Counselling Portal, which can help you get admission to premier engineering colleges in Delhi. They release cut-offs and you need to fill in the branch preference and college preference criteria accordingly. Everyone who sat for JEE can apply through the JAC portal. The application form got released in the month of September/ October. I am a General category student, so did not avail of any benefits of reservation.

I chose this course and this college because I heard it from my seniors and researched everything, and came to the conclusion that it's a good college. The placements and internships and amazing. Almost everyone gets placed. This made me choose this course. Although I am someone who is interested in pursuing tech roles, when I heard that Non-Computer science branches are also allowed to sit in placements and internships, I went for this course. It's an all-girls college, so the student-faculty ratio is decent. The teachers are well-versed in their subjects and will help you when you get stuck. Each semester, we have two exams. Mid-semester and end-semester exams. The teachers give marks if you know sufficiently about the topic and it all depends on the teacher whether you'll pass or not. But they usually give you marks, and you pass the semester with decent grades.

Many companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon Flipkart visit our campus offering stipends ranging from 40,000 to 1.5lakh per month for both tech and non-tech roles. Even if you are not from a computer science branch, you can still sit for tech roles.

From the 5th semester, companies visit the campus for summer internships, and from the 7th semester companies visit the campus for placements. All the big tech giants visit our college campus and the number of offers every year is pretty good. The highest CTC this year was 83 lakhs, offered by Atlassian for the role of SDE. The average package as per last year's stats is 15LPA Per Annum. Almost all the students get placed. I am going to sit for internships and placements this year.

The overall fee structure keeps on varying. In my case, I paid 90,000 for the first year. and then, 1 lakh, 15 thousand for the next three years. There are several government scholarships that keep on coming and you can apply for them based on their eligibility criteria.

There are two annual fests. Taarangana and Innerve. Both are amazing and everyone looks forward to them. classrooms are also great. There are many tech societies, debate societies, cultural societies and sports societies too
