Placement Experience
Excellent placement rate, great exposure to new ideas, just in the year 2014, 2 students from IT got placed in Google, with one breaking the all time Google package record(placed internationally). It is tougher for ECE students with them getting placed in software side more.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Yea its quite a bit expensive as compared to other colleges but u get tons of oppotunities to ear scholarships. Fees structure as of now are follows:Tuition fee 25, 000/Total fee 40, 500/
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no dearth of scholarships especially to reserved classes of India. There are also plenty of scholarhips rewarded o merit basis. Emails are regulary sent to all student id's about all scholarship opportunities.
Hostel Facilities
The boys hostel is terrible. Their food is inedible (not just bad tasting but food poisoning worthy) The girls hostel is much better. However there is too much warden control over movement.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors will make us feel that getting a 9 pointer something means that you are a stupid mugging nerd, losers always find excuse to justify themselves and they don't want others to win. It pretty much is, IIITA is not a college where scoring more than 7 should be a problem. So if you have a score between 6 to 7 you should have something else which stands out.
Exam Structure
Weekdays are spent in lecture halls and labs. Its the weekends when we get the time to hit the field, play with friends. Very frankly speaking, study time is only the night before exams or any quizzes, or if we have to submit any assignments.
