Remarks

The admission process is based on your Higher secondary examination marks from any board. The total no of seats in the mathematics department is 40. (SC-09/OBC-08) Eligibility of mathematics Hons is you should get above 60 per cent (in total). And in the PCM combination, you should get 85%.

I chose math (Hons) because I love math. And also the math department of this college is good. There are 5 teachers in math hons right now. Every teacher is experienced for more than 10 years. For each paper, there are teachers who have done PhD in that paper. Also, there is a teacher from IIT Bombay.

Class Size: 35Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no scholarship in college, but you will get half the fees and the full fees decrease for valid income certificate proof. The scholarship that I get is the Swami Vivekananda scholarship which is a state government scholarship (18000/year). The course fees of college are very less than any other college which is 570/per semester.

Campus Life

There is a Sanskrit group in college in which the programme happens on a monthly basis other than that many other festivals like Vasantha Utsav and Saraswati puja are celebrated here. Freshers, a farewell is celebrated department-wise. The library is awesome. You can take 2 books at a time for 20 days. There is a sports room in the college where table tennis and chess are played.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

Remarks:

Pros:The teachers very very helpful and friendly. Loans and scholarships available. Faculties are highly qualified. Infrastructure is awesome. Cons: no placement. No stipends There wasn’t any hostel facility. Canteen could be developed.
