Remarks

In our college, students take admission through JEE mains examinations. JEE exam is conducted by NTA you can get more information about JEE from the site. There is also a reservation for General EWS, OBC, SC, and ST students while taking admission and in fee waiver is also available. You must have chosen mathematics subject after the 10th board.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have been in the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering branch of NIT Raipur, it is not that difficult course. We have 1 Associate professor and 8 Assistant professors in our department, also there are 4 Temporary facilities. All faculties have completed their Ph.D. There is one mid-semester exam and one end-semester exam conducted in our college.

Class Size: 112Course Fees: INR 9000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities in NIT Raipur is very less. Students apply for off-campus internships. Many students complete their internship under professor of our college in research. For Metallurgical and Materials engineering department, students prefer to go Bhilai Steel plant.

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is quite impressive. You can check on the college website. In the 2021-22 session, a total of 101 companies reached our college and gave placements to 738 students with an average package of 10.1 LPA. From the start of the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Generally, the Fee structure of this college is less than the fee structure of other colleges having B.Tech course. There are some fee waivers also available. You can also apply for a Scholarship through the National scholarship portal. There are some clubs in our college like Finance club, E-cell, etc. Which can guide you to invest and earn money.

Campus Life

We have the same building for all the departments. We have a library with AC, where we can go and study, plenty of books are available there. We also have our cultural fest named Eclectika. We also have other fests like Shruti (musical fest), Samar(sports fest), Avartan(Tech fest), etc. The sports facilities are good.

This college is the best college in whole Chhattisgarh in terms of placements. This college will give you best placements that even the gov. college of it's level will not. A minimum of 400000 per year placements here is easy. And if you got some amazing skills then you can get a package more than 2200000 per year. That's very nice!

Best : Education Quality In our college we can study free of mind and with enjoyment. A huge library is there for study and for taking books from there. Worst : Hostel management In Our college hostle place is less, that's why more student need to away from college

Admission:

I had completed my diploma From Rungta college in 2015 and then by Counseling (Counselling of BE /B Pharma) I got Lakhmi. Chand institute Of Technology college then there was a call from the college for my Document verification after verification I filled up the admission form, then the fee submission.

An Homestate Girl in NIT Raipur

Honestly As A Girl , My Parents did'nt Allowed me to Leave my state . Which is very disappointment for me but it is okay They care about me ,so that nothing happen to me. My college is good

I applied in jossa counselling and get this college via that counselling because of my jee mains rank i got this college very best whatever I can get so i didn't really apply for any college just got addmission into this college because of jossa counselling and jee mains and jee advanced. I want to join iits but my rank was not that good so i didn't get seat into college like iit Bombay, iit Delhi, iit Kharagpur etc. I get addmission iny college firstly you have to give jee mains exam and get ranks as follows 75000 for general studies to get addmission in my college via jossa counselling or csab counselling you got the seat then pay the seat acceptance fee and book the seat in college then go to physical reporting to that college....Read More

First i apply for nit tiruchi but the cause of lack of percentile I got the the admission in nit Raipur in btech biotechnology the nit Raipur is a reputable in the matter of h good placement with none core branches but the nit tiruchi is highly reputable prefer high placement with core and none core branches Yes I got the rejection from nit tiruchi and nit bhopal as. My Daily Life At NIT Raipur

I had applied for NIT Silchar , But i didn't got it because of Low percentile in Jee Mains 2025 but i got NIT Raipur At Last Because NITs Have Home State quota and I Belong to Chattisgarh ,so i got NIT . I didn't Choose this college this was the only option i Had Left . So i had to choose this college that to Bio Technology Branch .but anyways i got good college ,better than half of the private institute in the manner of Fees and Reputition . We got admission through JOSAA , And we have to qualify Jee Mains Examination ,which Is Conducted By NTA ( National Testing Agency ) . The cutoff the exam category wise are Gen - 93.4 Percentile , Obc-82.1 Percentile , Sc -61 Percentile , And For ST it is 48 Percentile.
