Remarks

For admission firstly we have to attempt JEE mains and then Apply for JAC Chandigarh counseling and fill in preference accordingly. There are many reservations available in JAC Chandigarh that can be found on their website.

Course Curriculum Overview

computer science is the best branch available here placement-wise. All the teachers are Ph.D. and well-versed in their fields. The teaching method is Books and presentations. During exams, if you push yourself 1 week earlier you can maintain a good CGPA.

Internships Opportunities

Internship opportunities are available for every student in Tellabs and DIC with government-funded projects and several personal projects also under the experience and guidance of teachers. AI, ML projects, and Drone projects are available.

Placement Experience

Placements are done in the 7th sem of the degree. There are 70+ companies visiting campus with all the roles. namely American Express, ZScaler, ProcDNA, Policy Bazar, Amazon, Samsung, etc. The highest package is 40 LPA and the roles offered are Analysts, SDE, BTA, BTSA, etc. 95% placements in CS and IT.

Fees and Financial Aid

A 10% fee hike policy is there for new admission batches but then also it is a nominal amount as compared to other colleges and there is also available the facility of several loans and scholarships. We also have the facility of part-time jobs at PU library and other departments to have earnings side by side.

Campus Life

Annually there are so many fests in all the neighboring departments of other faculty like arts, laws, management In the classroom, we have AC, a Projector available, and good benches, curtains, etc. We have 10+ communities and clubs for every field be it like. dance, music, drama, and sports.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are most affordable here with 2 members in one room and are allotted on a merit basis, mess food is good sometimes. The hostel registration process is easy and online and done at the time of physical reporting, and if the hostel is not there there are so many PGs available in Chandigarh nearby only.

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

my college: pros and cons

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location.
