Remarks
After giving bitsat, counselling is generally online till 4th round after that you have to report to the campus for further rounds. If your college gets changed during the rounds, you have to report at the different campuses allotted. There is no reservation in bits it is totally based on the marks you scored in BITSAT and there is direct admission for board toppers for a few seats.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty members are quite good and very helpful and the courses are vast. after completing the mandatory courses of your branch you can also opt for other branch courses if you are interested. Grading is also good in some subjects. There are usually two quiz tests of 10 to 30 marks before the midsemester test.
Internships Opportunities
There are two paid internships which are compulsory otherwise you have to do a thesis. Internship companies are allotted based on CG. there is a summer internship where good companies like google amazon etc come to campus for internships and mostly give PPOs
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good with a good package in IT and core sectors. ECE's average package for this year was 18 lac whereas for CS it was 25 LAC overall IT sectors jobs were highly paid. The highest package was 60 lac
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is quite high for a middle-class family, but BITS provides scholarships and easy loans. The total cost to study for a 4-year program is around 25 lac and for the year program is 34 lac. The scholarship is provided based on CG you score in your semesters. If your family income is less than 12 lac (generally) you can avail merit cum scholarship which is quite easy to get. The other is merit cum where you need to be in the top 25 of your college to avail scholarship.
Campus Life
the annual fests are atoms and many more they are generally conducted after 1 month of freshers arrival The library has huge collections of the book from core branch books to even children story books you can easily take any book from the library. There are cricket, football, hockey, and kabaddi grounds on the campus. Inductions are held every year if you play well you can join the team easily. it also has a chess room carrom room badminton court in each hostel and the main badminton court also
Hostel Facilities
hotel faculty is good bathrooms are cleaned everyday water coolers are installed on every floor. The hostel is compulsory on our campus you can form wings with your friends. Mess food is decent we have restaurants and different stalls where you can eat food. There is a night canteen where you can order food till 1 A.M
