The admission is based on jee mains rank and you have to fill Upsee counselling for admission Talking about the culture, the college has developed the coding culture a lot in recent years, earlier the GATE culture was quite dominant here but now more students are going towards placement. The placement in recent years is also quite good, many students have been placed at the top mnc's also.

The faculty here are quite good, most of them are having PhD degrees, some teachers there are also not permanent, they are given job under ugc and if they perform well, they are given a permanent job. In one semester there are 2 class tests namely ct1 and ct2 and then there is a semester exam. Ct are of easy level having 15 marks for each ct while the semester exams are of moderate level of 100 marks and some marks are of assignment and attendance, total marks in a subject are 150.

The 1st year fee of this college is 71,400 including hostel charges, from 2nd year till 4th year, the fee is 65,400, and the additional 6000 in 1st year is security money which will be refunded after the final year. The mess fee, you have to pay separately is 14000 per semester i.e 28,000 per year. The scholarship is provided by the up government to financially weak students which is equal to the tuition fee of the college.

The campus life here is good, there are separate hostels for each year and there are some old hostels and some old hostels, the old one is also in good condition till now but the new ones are better. The only bad thing is that they allow the hostel on basis of semester results, so good marks student get the new hostel and the lower marks student gets the old hostel which I don't like. And here we have a central playground for cricket and football, a volleyball court is also there and there is one outdoor basketball court as well and there is an indoor stadium having basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess and carrom and that is absolutely beautiful. Apart from that, we have cultural, and literature fests in the college for new year students and sports tournaments are also organised here regularly.

The hostel facility is good here, the hostel fee in this college is quite minimal, just 9600 for a whole year and the hostel maintenance is good but sometimes there is some problem with the water here. The new hostels are quite clean and good and the old ones are also good but not that good looking.
