It's a great place if you're really dedicated

I was selected on a rural education development basis. This selection process will be based on your merit, the school that you've studied and your caste reservations and also highest age is given more priority. The application should be done right after your 10th standard, you can find the application form and its details in any Mee Seva Kendra.

I choose this course as I was keen to learn computer science concepts since my initial days in my college. Faculty-student ratio is not so good. Qualification of faculty is minimum master and the teaching methods they use are quite good and easy to understand. We have had monthly tests and semester exams. It's not so difficult to pass semester exams. I would rate the difficulty level as 7 out of 10.

Students become eligible for placements from the first semester of their BTech final year. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Gridlex, Vitwit, Forsys, Thought works, Infosys, FactSet, Wiley etc have visited the campus so far. The highest package offered is 11 LPA and the average package offered is 5 LPA as of now. Almost 75 to 80 per cent of people are getting placed especially in computer science.

Students selected for this campus are mostly provided with free education. The scholarship will be provided by the government for all selected students except for government employee family students. Global category students need to pay 1 lakh 50 thousand per annum. Students with govt employee families need to pay 40000 per annum. On average, a student can get a job offer of around 5 lakh per annum.

Social life on campus is quite good. Projectors are provided in classrooms. We have a tech fest every year. Few books and journals are available in the library. Sports and extracurricular activities are performed on campus in my free time.
