70% of the seats are allotted based on merit score of TS EAMCET and 30% of the seats are reserved for management/NRI candidates After the seat allotment, candidates have to report to the institute and submit the documents and pay the fees to complete the admission process.

Infrastructure: KMIT college has very good infrastructure for labs and classes. It has no hostel but many hostels are nearby this college. It has all the facilities for labs and equipment to do projects. It also has a canteen in which all the varieties of food items are available with good quality. Faculty: KMIT college conducts regular exams for all the students for their practice in understanding the subject and to get full application knowledge in all subjects. All the faculty in the college are highly qualified and had a very good experience in teaching. The difficulty of the exams is moderate.

Sadly there is no hostel facility provided by this institution. The college lacks a ground and the said ground is used for parking vehicles. The only benefit is the location of the college. It is located in the middle of the city making it accessible to the general public by bus stop and metro alike. There are also various private hostel facilities provided around the college
