Sweet and simple overview of the college

Anyone who sat in JEE MAINS can take admitted here. Also, people can get admission directly after 12 without any entrance but have a slightly different process. Also, diploma students are too eligible for lateral entry directly in the second year.

I opted for CSE because of the high demand and high salary job opportunities in this sector Or say field. Faculty and student ratio are dependent on the branch you opt for like if you are from top branches like CSE, and ECE then 1 teacher for every 7 students and slightly less in core branches and very less in lower branches like ICE and IP. The faculty is highly qualified, max teachers are Ph.D. holders and a very few M techs from IITs. Yes they are highly qualified and that's why you should be regular in class whether you can understand a subject well or not but attendance is a tough thing to manage. 2 sessional before a semester exam and 2 semesters in a year.

Students after the 5th semester are eligible for placement but only a selected number of companies visit our college and INFOSYS, TCS, WIPRO, and CHETU are our frequently visited companies. And an average of 3.5-4 LPA is offered to students. Recently a student got a 24 LPA job from on-campus placement but opted for a 1.5 cr package which he was getting off campus in Germany. Also a senior from ME got to intern at MITACS. The reason behind the Low average package is that 90% of students opt to go for higher studies and they quit placements. If you search our college ranked at the top for getting admissions in MTech In iits, every year around 7-8 students get into the top 100 AIR. In 2022 our top scorer got AIR 4. I am also interested in qualifying gate exam and getting a master's degree.

As I am in the second year the fees are the same as the previous year. Students here apply for scholarships but as my father is a government employee I am not eligible to take the scholarships. Almost 95% of students take scholarships here and almost everyone gets them. Approx. 55000 rupees is given in a Muslim student account and 53000 to 52000 in an obc student account. The general student also suffers here for a scholarship, max. Of my general friends applied but not got it in the first year of college.

I think our tech fest which is technovation was held in June the previous year and it was a very good experience to be part of it. Our annual fest is UDBHAV which is going to be held in October and it will be my first time experiencing it. We can issue books according to our interest from the Central Library and can sit and use the office library till the college is open, around 5 PM. The classroom is well-equipped with lights, fans, chairs, and tables, a whiteboard. Every year zonals are our annual sports event in which we play with different colleges, and also represented ourselves on the state level, it is a two-day event. There are clubs like IERT DSC which have many chapters and students actively participate in them.

3 seater room with fans and table chairs, beds three each are provided to every room. Water cooler for all the hostels 1st year, 2nd, 3rd, 4rth year boys and girls hostel. The meal is average. Easy apply for a hostel by submitting fees and an application to the warden. But after 1st yr hostelers are prioritized for the hostel next year, if a seat is vacant then a day scholar will get it otherwise not.
