We got in through JEE MAIN exams. The website for that exam is jeemain.nta.nic.in, 4 exams are held every year, although at that time there were only 2. I had OBC Reservation and State Quota with me as reservation benefits.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course not only because I was interested in coding, but also because this was the best course I was getting with my JEE rank. Some faculties are very good, one of our professors is in the top 2% list of scientists in AI. The term exams were about moderate difficulty, but we had gotten used to the online exams so it didn't really go well for some of us.
Placement Experience
People become eligible for on-campus internships in the 5th sem and on-campus placements in the 7th sem. There are numerous companies like Adobe, Amazon, Arcesium, Optum, etc. visited our campus for the IT sector. Almost 90% of students from IT and CS were placed last year.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are no fee hikes as of now, they have different fee structures for different income categories, divided into 0-1L, 1-5L, and 5L+. ST/SC students get a complete tuition fee waiver. The fee is around 1.5LPA for 5L+ income students.
Campus Life
There are numerous fests that are organized by the clubs and committees of students. Almost all of them are run by students and have a faculty advisor and some funding from the college administration. All the course books are available in the library, but nothing other than academics. The classrooms are different for each department and batch. Some of them have false ceilings and ACs, while some of them have broken benches and congested seating arrangements. Projectors are there, too.
