Remarks

A minimum of 70% above the students must get into the subject they want to continue with. Application forms, fees, and dates everything is available on the official college website. From my point of view, I want a college playground where students can spend some time over there and some inter-college tournaments.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because, in the future, I want to work in the banking sector. The facilities are well behaved and friendly too and their teaching method is also good. Mainly there is 6 months interval between the semester exams.

Class Size: 149Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is normal not so much. It mainly depends upon the course you select. Swami Vivekananda scholarship, Kanya Shree scholarship, and many more scholarships were available. For applying you must get above 60%.

Campus Life

Every year in December or January annual fest is conducted. And the fresher's party is also conducted after the joining of the new students. Almost every book is available in the library. They give it for free for 1months and then again you'll have to renew it. The amenities of the classroom are average, Every year at least 2-3times sports are held. And a students union is also there

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
