Remarks

You need to pass the entrance JEE Main exam or IPU CET exam after the 12th class and clear the cutoff of the IT course in the MAIT seat allotment process. You can know about the rounds and process of admission all at https://ipu.admissions.nic.in. Firstly, you should have got JEE as the main result then check if admissions are going on currently on gossip's main website. Now to fill out the form visit - https://admissions.nic.in (this is the link you will get on the ipu. admissions website) After entering all the details and attaching the documents required you will lastly need to pay a certain amount for the application form to be submitted (in my case it was 1000 something). Then after you will get your application form done(download the form from the website) and check the admissions website for counseling frequently.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose this course because I have an interest in a technical field - coding I started computer coding and learning from 8th standard, I used to make webpages using HTML and CSS, and also money is another important reason. As I can say in my college, Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology I am in the IT branch so, it has 4 technical branches - CSE, IT, ECE, EEE, and morning and evening shifts in IT,CSE. CSE and IT are divided into 3 groups CSE-1,2,3 and IT-1,2,3. Speaking of faculty in my It branch we have around 10 faculty members. So the total faculty: student ratio is approximately 9:1. I mean some out of many I can say aren't that qualified but most of our teachers and professors are highly qualified as they came from many prestigious universities like DU, NSUT, etc. In the case of their teaching method, they are teachers so can't differ but I can some teachers are bad while most teach well. Term exams were about 1.5 months apart from the start of sem, it was not that difficult.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

As far as I know, there are only 2-3 companies visiting college after the 3rd year or 6th semester onwards, and most of the time all the students look for internships and offers off campus. Josh tech, New-gen mainly came for the internship offers (for boys) and they offer stipends from about 15k to 30k stipend per month. Projects include development projects - android, web, etc. These projects shall be able to help fulfill people's daily needs and solve their problems.

Placement Experience

2.5

Students get placement offers and are eligible after the 6th semester and our college made the 8th semester fully for the placement and internships. My plans, I came in 2nd year the previous month. so, I am currently applying for internships off campus in a lot of product-based companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I recently paid my Second-year fees I can talk about this the fee letter for this year was about 1,33,000 rupees equal to the previous year's amount. So there was not a considerable or negligible hike in fees or we can say about 1-3 percent per year. Admission Fees - 1,17,000, Games activities - 15,000, Extra amount for the library, book bank, etc. - 1,000. There are many scholarships for economically weaker sections or for even the general categories you can get fees lessened or waived.

Campus Life

2.5

MSIT Raunak Fest 2022, happened recently and the dress code for the event was ethnic clothes( Indian traditional clothes ) celebrated in October from 10 am to 4 pm. Books are easily available in the library and can be assured on a semester basis from the Book bank. Talking of amenities in classrooms most of the classrooms have wooden tables with blackboards, projectors are generally cleaned and have ventilation, and full lighting. Some of the fans don't even work but they get repaired as per the student's request. Most of the classes don't have Air conditioners There are sports and extracurricular activities on campus. I don't know about clubs but there are many societies (Prakriti, IEEE, DSC) and social groups on WhatsApp for development competitive and many things.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

So placement cell is not present in college because of low intake of students but the students are very skilled to crack Gsoc , and other internship opportunities which lands them into big company. Also very good alumni network is present in college which boosts the placement of college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
