Eligibility for this course is you should have more than 80% in boards. The online form is available on the website from May-June. If the form is missing out, you can directly visit Sector-62 JIIT for the admission process. The fee started from 110000 per semester to now 135000 per semester (6 months).

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course as it is an emerging field in biology which also consists of technology so it's interesting. The faculty is enough in number and well qualified. The teaching method is digital and honestly, all have to study themselves before the exam. There are 3 exams, the first two of 20 marks each and the last one of 35 marks. The first two are quite easy and the last one is difficult and the whole syllabus is included.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 250000 per year

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester onwards placements start and from the very first week, students start getting placed. There are many companies like MindTree, Infosys, cognizant, and others, and they provide an opening for 50-200 students each. The highest package goes around 50-54lpa and the average goes to 8-10lpa. I am an integrated MTech student so I will be graduating next to next year.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are three parts to the fee, tuition fee, development fee, and hostel fee. All total costs are around 250000 for 1 semester and without the hostel, it costs 135000 per semester. Placements for the biotechnology branch vary from 3.5 LPA to 7 LPA, depending on different companies.

Campus Life

There is one annual fest Impression which is good and apart from that small events goes on throughout the year. Classrooms are good and spacious with AC working from 9-5 in the summer. There are sports groups and interested people can play along. All the society be it dance, acting, or technical is run by students but there are faculty supervisors for guidance.
