The admission process included an MCQ-type test followed by a personal interview. The process was easygoing and smooth. The question in the tests was easy and the interview was more of a personal interaction.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took computer science and engineering as my branch for my B.Tech. The strength of my batch was 240(CSE) and there were a lot of faculty members for every department and subject. The gender ratio was also good. And the exams were semester based.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are part of the placement procedure. Some companies offer only internships while others offer internships +full time jobs. For a CSE graduate, there is a lot of opportunity like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, HCL, Tech Mahindra, and so on.
Placement Experience
Placement starts as early as the 7th sem. Numbers of companies visit campus during the 7th and 8th semesters. As far as CSE is considered placement is near about 95-99%. The average package offered is in the range of 4-6 LPA. Whereas if you do good in your academies and your skills then you can be lucky enough to grab a 7-10 LPA from campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee was 102500 per annum and the hostel fee was 70000 for double seater. There were also loan facilities from the different banks and eligible students can apply for the scholarship by U.P. Government annually. Other than this, an annual exam fee of 7500 is charged by the university (AKTU).
Campus Life
Life at the campus is great. Hostels are very well designed. The seating area, playing area, and dining area are well-maintained and functional. There are a lot of sports and cultural events organized annually and also there are different cultural societies within the college to provide opportunities to everyone.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are well-equipped and well-designed. There are options for single seater double seater and triple seater too. Although, single seater is not provided to juniors. The food in the mess is overall okay. Some days the food is great in taste and some days it's just edible.
Interview Experience
No group discussion was taken. The interview was more of personal interaction with the management of the college and a few faculty members. No additional preparation is required for the admission process, just the basics of the 11th and 12th standards are sufficient.
