Remarks
The admission process was very smooth, we had to appear for CAT (the common aptitude test) and then clear it with 99% ile because the cutoff for FMS Delhi usually goes very high. Then we had to fill out an application form which we get from the official website and pay a fee of Rs 1000, along with it submit an SOP which is also evaluated, if we get a shortlist after the over percentile is passing the cutoff we get a call for GDPI.
Course Curriculum Overview
Our course consists of all managerial subjects from HR to operations to marketing to finance to strategy. Our faculty members are highly skilled in all terms and are very talented and kind. Faculty to student ratio is 1:6 as mentioned in our annual placement report, we also have a legacy of more than 60 years.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are in similar lines with the final placements around 100+ companies visit the campus including all top companies. We saw companies like BCG, Bain, McKinsey, Microsoft, Google, Accenture etc and many other big firms take part in our summer internship process. Avg stipend offered is Rs 1.5 lakh/ month and the highest goes to Rs 2.5 lakh/ month.
Placement Experience
Placements at FMS Delhi are very good, we get an average package of 40 lakhs/ year and the highest package goes up to 60 lakhs/ year. I have always been a consulting enthusiast and enjoyed solving consulting cases, I have been placed with my dream company, the Boston Consulting Group. The opportunities are great here, we just need to grab one.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is only Rs 94,000 per year and students don't usually take scholarships, even if one requires it they can get it from DU or National schemes which are open for top reputed colleges with certain accreditation. Placements are very good when compared to the minimal fees we pay.
Campus Life
FMS Delhi has its campus in the heart of North Delhi, where the rest of the colleges of the University of Delhi are situated, we see that all the facilities are provided to us by the DU from playground, to gym, to sports facility to cultural activities hall and others as well. In, my first year I was a part of the alumsoc, which is the alumni cell of FMS Delhi, this helped me make various connections and networks from various domains and industries.
