Meerut ki shaan IIMT University

For eligibility in any course, there is a facility for cuet exam. Whoever pass in this exam will directly be eligible for admission. Application forms are available on the university website. I have not availed of any reservation benefit. Not all of the admission process is so smooth.

I choose this course because of my obvious reasons because I have interest in computer background. The faculty is good but it can be better if there are some phd level professors. Qualifications of teachers are mostly graduates, the teaching method is good but it can be far better. Exams are conducted on a timely basis as in one year there were two semesters and in each semester there were two sessional exams also the difficulty level of exams is moderate.

From 3rd year, students are eligible for campus placements. Companies visited like chetu, tek inspiration, webkul, etc and many startup companies. I have three offers in my hand but I didn't select any of those because of what CTC offered to me. The highest package is 3.5 LPA. 70-80% of students get placed. My plan is to get a good job with a good CTC after my college.

Fees hike policy is good they give options for partial payment also like EMI. The cost to study was also good. They didn't charge anything extra. The scholarship is mainly for Uttar Pradesh residents as they give scholarships to them only. The job facility is not good.

There were not any social groups run by students but some sports clubs are there like the basketball club, cricket club, volleyball Club, techfest club, and gym club. There were not any particular websites for students.

The hostel facility is good. In hostels, we get free access to wifi, hot and cold water for 24 hours, electricity supply, a separate washroom in every room and an attached almirah. The meal is average like every college has. The menu is changed every day. The registration process is hassle-free and affordable also. I have not rented a room outside but there was so many pgs near the college.
