Remarks

The admission process was overall good. The application form will be found on the website. Application fees are 2000. Application dates were 23rd October to 5th November. The benefits of the reservation are not too much given. But that's good.

I want to become a doctor this why I choose this course. The teaching method overall is good for us. They too much help us with theory practice and assignments. Term exams are after 2 months. This is mbbs so we have to struggle in this course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are 22500. Yes, cost to study our poor people. Swami Vivekanand scholarship. I got an internship in other hospitals with only a 2000 stipend . Opportunity of this scholarship I only paid in the hostel.

Campus Life

Campus life is overall good. My social life is simple. No, I don't have a social group. Yes, books are all time Available in this college it's very helpful for us. Sports and curriculum activities often happen.

Hostel Facilities

The room is quite good. Meal quality is poor. Hostel Life. I was located in dhakuria. The menu was dal rice etc. Sometimes we have to cook for ourselves. They do not provide healthy food. That's why we cooked.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is completely based on NMC new guidelines. Along with the theory classes where we know the structure and their working in dissection we actually see them on cadaver . Lectures should be more interesting as it's get boring to literally listen the concepts for first time like a story and at the end we forget everything

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.

Rg kar medical college hostel, education and college life review

You have to clear NEET UG cut off for our college which varies according to your category . Cut off is high as our college is third most sought college in WB. R.G.kar Medical college, The home for the Best Future Doctors.

You need to qualify for the NEET UG exam. With an Air of around Rs 10000-13000 to get into this college. All details of admission are available on the MCI and WBMCC websites.
